Code of Conduct and Club Rules

AUSBLICK SKI AREA

Code of Conduct and Club Rules ed.2016

LODGE and TABLE USE:

The chalet is for everyone’s use and enjoyment. We ask that all Members cooperate and clean up after themselves. (This includes tables, chairs and carpeted areas. HANDSWEEPERS are available.) Observe proper disposal of garbage and recycling materials in appropriate bins around chalet.

TABLES:

No more than (2) tables may be pulled together by one group ON FRIDAY NIGHT, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY without prior consent of management. Please be considerate of fellow members and share tables and chairs especially when the lodge is busy. If all the tables seem to be in use, ask to join another family and share the experience.

Table space is valuable; therefore, they should not be used for the sole purpose of just storing personal items, food and beverages!

Sitting on any table top is not allowed at any time. This causes permanent damage to the table.

For safety reasons, all walk ways must be kept clear! Please do not store ski bags, boots, clothing, coolers, etc in any walk way. Storage Cubicles are provided near the restrooms and should be used for all storage needs.

NO EQUIPMENT IN LODGE:

All skis, poles, and snowboards are forbidden in the lodge area with the exception of the basement locker area and the stairwell leading thereto.

APPROPRIATE LODGE BEHAVIOR:

Running and loud play activities are NEVER permitted in the chalet. No play activities are allowed in/near the storage cubicles, coat room, restrooms, kitchen, basement stairwell, or basement locker room at any time. Parents must monitor their children at all times and ensure that their activities in the lodge are appropriate. Any child/person behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner will be approached by Ausblick Staff and told to cease the behavior. We appreciate your cooperation.

KITCHEN:

All members should bring their own adequate supply of personal cooking/serving items with them to use. Paper and plastic products are only supplied as a convenience in case something is forgotten.
If you use a utensil/glass/plate/serving dish etc. please wash, dry and put the item back where it was found. DIRTY DISHES ARE NEVER TO BE LEFT IN THE SINK AT ANY TIME.
All working/cutting/preparing surfaces must be wiped clean.

GRILL:

Before starting to grill, be sure to turn on the exhaust fan. Scrape grill grates before AND after cooking. Please ask the office staff for assistance if you are unfamiliar with the use of the grill/exhaust fan or any other item in kitchen.

Please bring any unusual or potentially hazardous situation to the attention of hill staff immediately.

FIREPLACE:

The fireplace is to be tended ONLY by AUSBLICK STAFF! (Smoke can back up into the building if not properly tended and only staff is trained in proper procedures.) Members are not allowed to start a fire or add wood to the fireplace at any time. Your cooperation is appreciated.

GAS FIREPLACE IN FLEX ROOM:

Will be lit upon request and tended only by staff.
