Ski Swap - Oct, 2011

One might find it difficult to fathom, however somehow during a balmy Sunday in October, Brewers in the playoffs mid-afternoon and the Packers playing a Sunday evening game, nearly 500 members and friends attended our annual Ski Sale. Buyers were able to browse through 845 items presented for sale at in many cases, bargain prices. While gross sales were slightly down from last year, one can only assume many have chosen Miller Park and alternate spectator sports destinations. In the end, sellers and buyers exchanged equipment and clothing to prepare themselves, family and friends for the upcoming season. Watch for some pictures to appear shortly on our website. The first hour may serve as a reminder of why many of us do our Christmas Shopping over the internet.

Also, our sincere appreciation to those who responded to our appeal for volunteers to help during the ski sale. Your time, effort and friendship during the event will be remembered for a long time.
