Chairlift Overhaul - Aug, 2011
Chairlift Overhaul
In August of this last summer we disassembled major parts of our chairlift as it was deemed to be prudent to rebuild them after 40 years of service. General Manager Dennis Evinrude solicited bids from industry experts to lead the repair team and the services of Larry Wollum were retained. Larry was a long time field repair representative from the firm that built our lift and is considered one of the most knowledgeable people in the lift industry.

The Ausblick portion of the team consisted of Snowmaking & Groomer Manager Wes Cashwell, his assistant Rick Bull, and myself providing oversight of the project.
The photos will indicate the depth to which we go to make these repairs in order to give Ausblick the best possible assurance of a trouble free season. In the last forty years we have had less than forty hours of downtime with this lift and strive to keep that number as low as possible. Enjoy the photos and fell free to contact me with any questions you might have.
